We are very happy to be able to re-open Hope Cottage from July 4th 2020, following the lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

We have made some changes during this diffcult time, as your safety is our first concern. We will adapt to Government Guidance as and when it is changed.

Changes to the Cottage:

We have put a hand sanitiser next to the front door for you to use as you enter the cottage.

We have removed unnecessary items such as books, board games and DVDs, and cushions and throws. This is to ensure we are able to clean everything thoroughly between guests.

We ask that you please strip the beds at the end of your stay and place the linen and towels in the bin bag provided. This is to protect our housekeeper.

We have changed our arrival and departure times slightly, to ensure time between guests for a thorough clean and additional hygiene measures.

Changes in the Colmer Estate:

The pools, gym, games room and laundry room are closed.

The table tennis table has been moved from the pool area to the walled
garden. Please use your own bats and balls.

The tennis court is open but please use your own racquets and balls.

There are no changes to the fishing rules.
